KPJ International College of Nursing and Health Sciences (KPJIC) won The BrandLaureate SMEs Chapter Awards (Best Brands in Education)

On January 8th 2009, KPJ International College of Nursing and Health Sciences (KPJIC) won The BrandLaureate SMEs Chapter Awards (Best Brands in Education) for being the first international nursing college in Malaysia, as well as for having a significant track record of 100% passes. Offering collaborative programmes with reputable foreign universities, KPJ IC has attracted many students from all over the world.
The objective of KPJIC entering the award was to acknowledge the nation’s first international nursing college, to acknowledge KPJ’s efforts in producing quality ‘nurses for the world' and to acknowledge KPJ’s initiatives in developing an education arm in nursing and health sciences.
On March 31st 2009, KPJ's parent company, Johor Corporation (JCorp) also won The BrandLaureate Awards for the Conglomerate Award 2008-2009 category at Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. JCorp was viewed as a leading Malaysian conglomerate and was awarded for their success in various fileds. JCorp's Chairman, Tan Sri Dato' Muhammad Ali bin Hashim, received the awards from then, Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato' Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.
