About 100 people donated blood at a Health Awareness Day and Blood Donation Campaign

KULAUAYA: About 100 people donated blood at a Health Awareness Day and Blood Donation Campaign at IOI Mall, here. The event was organised by KPJ Puteri Specialist Hospital to mark World Health Day.

The main objectives were to promote awareness of the importance of healthy living and encourage people to donate blood to save lives. Shoppers were given free health checks by hospital staff, including blood pressure, body mass index, waist hip ratio and glucose
tests.

Hospital chief executive director Khairun Ahmad was present.
