KPJ Healthcare Berhad (KPJ), Malaysia's leading provider of private healthcare services organized a Charity Golf tournament

KPJ Healthcare Berhad (KPJ), Malaysia's leading provider of private healthcare services organized a Charity Golf tournament at the Tropicana Golf & Country Resort to raise funds for the needy. 120 of Kuala Lumpur's top corporate and amateur golfers participated in aid of raising money for Dana Klinik Waqaf. The charity operates 23 clinics and dialysis centers throughout Malaysia as well as the Waqaf Hospital located in Johor. The golfers taking part had a great time, most prominently enjoyed the lucky prize draw as well as some basic health screening for eye testing, grip strength and flexibility. Unfortunately nobody won the BMW 3 Series that was upforgrabs for a Hole In One; however plenty of other prizes were handed out for closest to the pin amongst others. Ashari Abu Samah emerged the champion of the tournament with Sallehuddin Mohd Imran and Sani bin Harun finishing second and third respectively. The president and Managing Director of KPJ Healthcare, Amiruddin Abdul Satar, said the Charity Golf Tournament is part of KPJ Group's overall community outreach efforts, to extend care across Malaysia's communities. The Charity Golf Tournament saw the participation of more than 30 flights comprising of banks, vendors, local authorities, corporate partners and clients.
