KPJ RAISES STAKE IN LABLINK

The Star - KPJ Healthcare Bhd has acquired an additional 24% stake in Lablink (M) Sdn Bhd (LMSB) for RM1.5mil, increasing its stake to 84%.

KUALA LUMPUR: KPJ Healthcare Bhd has acquired an additional 24% stake in Lablink (M) Sdn Bhd (LMSB) for RM1.5mil, increasing its stake to 84%.

KPJ Healthcare told Bursa Malaysia that LMSB was mainly involved in medical laboratory services and had been supporting the KPJ group since 1992.

LMSB recorded a pre-tax profit of RM2.13mil for the financial year ended Dec 3, 2007.
