MALAYSIA will exchange documents for three major deals at the 8th China-Asean Expo (CAEXPO 2011) in Nanning, China from Oct 21 to 26.
Malaysia External Trade Development Corp (Matrade) chief executive officer Dr Wong Lai Sum said the ceremony will be held at the Malaysia Pavilion where 132 Malaysian companies, 16 government agencies and three associations will have their booths.
"They are significant, with impact," she said, refusing to divulge details other than they would involve services and expertise.
Speaking to reporters in Kuala Lumpur on Monday, she said Matrade would bring companies from the services sector including in healthcare, education, professional services and environmental protection apart from manufactured goods to CAEXPO 2011.
Most of the Malaysian exhibitors are small-and-medium enterprises involved in food and beverages, health and wellness, and lifestyle while the large corporations include Sime Darby Bhd, Puncak Niaga Holdings Bhd, Salcon Engineering Bhd, Sunway Bhd, Berjaya Corp Bhd, KPJ Healthcare Bhd, Malaysia Airlines Cargo Sdn Bhd and Selangor Pewter.
