DENGKIL, Nov 30 (Bernama) -- KPJ Healthcare Berhad (KPJ), through it subsidiaries, has expressed interest to adopt the Pusat Anak Permata Negara. KPJ Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital general manager Noor Haslina Harun said among the subsidiaries which had expressed interests to do so were the KPJ Johor Specialist Hospital, KPJ Ipoh Specialist Hospital and KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital The matter was, however, still under discussion with the centre, she said. Pusat Anak Permata Negara is the national early childhood education and care centre. "At the moment, KPJ Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital and Pusat Anak Permata Negara has agreed to adpot the Dengkil Pusat Anak Permata Negara," she told reporters when met at the second anniversary of Pusat Anak Permata Negara in Taman Permata, Dengkil, here. She said children at adopted centres would be given free health screenings and be involved in health awareness programme. "We will also carry out other monthly programmes and activities which we will discuss with the Pusat Anak Permata Negara," she said. -- BERNAMA |
