In conjunction with Christmas and New Year celebrations, the KPJ Johor Specialist Hospital in Johor Baru took the opportunity to distribute socks filled with goodies and balloons to children at its paediatric ward.

The gifts were distributed and handed over on Dec 24 by the hospital’s deputy manager of marketing services, Feirulsha Mohd Khalid, together with its deputy chief nurse, Hafizah Hamidon and other staff.

KPJ’s gesture brought smiles to many children, who were admitted for various illnesses.

The event was organised to bring cheer to the children as they were unable to enjoy the festive season with their family and friends at home.

The treat is also part of the hospital’s corporate social responsibility.

The hospital management hopes that the children are happy with this small token. Gifts were also distributed to other children who visited the hospital on the day.
