THEMED Attractions and Resorts Sdn Bhd has secured seven new corporate partnerships worth RM6 million for indoor educational and entertainment theme park, KidZania Kuala Lumpur.
Joining the existing partners are Airtime Management and Programming Sdn Bhd, Allianz General Insurance Company, Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Bhd and A Clouet and Co (KL) Sdn Bhd (Ayam Brand).
Kraft Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Mini Melts (M) Sdn Bhd, Plaza Premiuni Lounge Management Ltd and Sushi Kin Sdn Bhd (Sushi King) are also on the list.
Themed Attractions senior vice-president (corporate partnership and commercial development), Philip Whittaker, said the total value of partnerships had reached RM50 million.
Currently, it has 27 partners, including the seven new signings."We’re nearing close to 80 per cent of our overall value target.
I believe the target will be achieved in the next 12 months."We’re looking for another 10 to 15 new partnerships in that period," he told reporters after the signing ceremony.
Whittaker said the company was expecting partners engaged in the fast-moving consumer goods and personal healthcare products industries.
Some of the companies which have partnered Themed Attractions for the theme park are AirAsia Bhd, Celcom Axiata Bhd, Media Prima Bhd, Sony (M) Sdn Bhd, KPJ Healthcare Bhd and Telekom Malaysia Bhd.
Themed Attractions managing director and chief executive officer, Tunku Datuk Ahmad Burhanuddin, was present at the signing ceremony yesterday.
