Frost Sullivan today honoured and recognized Malaysia‘s best at the 2012 Frost Sullivan Malaysia Excellence Awards banquet.

Mr. Manoj Menon, Partner Asia Pacific Managing Director, Frost Sullivan said the company honours and recognizes companies in a variety of regional and global markets for demonstrating outstanding achievement and superior performance in areas such as leadership, technological innovation, customer service, and strategic product development.

“We are extremely proud and happy to host the annual awards in Malaysia to celebrate best practices in Malaysian companies. I am confident that this awards banquet will continue to be the most anticipated event of the year by the Malaysian business community,” he added.

Mr. Gopal R, Country Head, Frost Sullivan Malaysia said that the Awards seek to recognize best practices and outstanding performance by Malaysian companies in different sectors such as automotive, energy, environment building, healthcare, logistics, technology, and telecoms.

He added that award recipients for the 2012 Frost Sullivan Malaysia Excellence Awards were identified based on an in-depth interviews, analysis, and extensive secondary research conducted by Frost Sullivan’s analysts. Companies are typically studied on their revenues, market share, capabilities, and overall contribution to the industry.

The findings of the detailed evaluation will then be presented to a panel of independent judges comprising influential personalities and leaders in Malaysia, to decide the recipient for each category.

“The recipients of the Frost Sullivan Malaysia Excellence Awards have clearly demonstrated outstanding performances, rising above the competition in Malaysia,” Mr. Gopal said.

The banquet was officiated by the office on the Malaysian Ministry of International Trade Industry, represented by YB Dato’ Jacob Dungau Sagan, Deputy Minister on behalf of YB Dato’ Mustapa Mohamed, Minister of the Malaysian International Trade Industry.
