KUANTAN: KPJ Healthcare Berhad held a symbolic ceremony to mark the topping up of its latest hospital in Tanjung Lumpur near here. The new 180bedded KPJ Pahang Specialist Hospital will be on a 70:30 joint venture between Kumpulan Perubatan johor Sdn Bhd and Pasdec Corporation Sdn Bhd. The new hospital is expected to serve the population of over 600,000 in Kuantan, as well as those Pahang Health, Human Resources and Special Tasks Committee chairman Datuk Norol Azali Sulaiman was the guestofhonour Also present were Pasdec chief executive officer Datuk Mohd Khairuddin Abdul Manan,Pahang Specialist Hospital chairman Mohd Sahir Rahmat and KPJ Pahang's executive director Ahmad Nasirruddin Harun.
