in this vibrant, growing region.

The past year has been a challenging one for the world economy, and this year, strong headwinds are threatening to undermine the recovery in the global economy. Both the
International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank have revised downwards their global economic growth forecast for 2015 to 3.5% and 3% respectively.

Nevertheless, despite the continued challenging global economic environment, Najib remains optimistic that Malaysia could record a steady economic growth of between 4.5% and 5.5%, riding on the country's strong fundamentals and cooperation from the local business community.

Also present at the awards ceremony were Minister of International Trade and Industry Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed and AKI council chairman Tan Sri Azman Hashim. - Malaysia SME
