Sultan launches new specialist hospital in Rawang

KPJ Healthcare Berhad has opened its 24th specialist hospital in Rawang

KPJ Healthcare Berhad has opened its 24th specialist hospital in Rawang, making it the only private specialist hospital within a 30km radius of the growing township.

The new hospital was launched yesterday by Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah and Tengku Permaisuri Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin.

KPJ Healthcare chairman Datuk Kamaruzzaman Abu Kassim said the hospital, which had been operating since 2014, would serve some 1.3 million people in the surrounding areas.

“As with other hospitals in the KPJ Group, KPJ Rawang has been outfitted with the latest medical equipment and technology,” he said during the opening of the hospital.
