Medical centre to hand out 30 baby car seats in child safety campaign |

SIBU: Sibu Specialist Medical Centre (SSMC) is giving out 30 baby car seats for early birds who register for labour this month at the centre.
DOWNLOAD PDF Its general manager Denis Saving Boniface said this is part of SSMC's 'Buckle Up, Baby' campaign which pre-launched yesterday. He said the campaign aims to create awareness of baby safety in order to minimise child fatalities in road accidents. "The campaign begins on Feb 1 (today) and this initiative will see a child safety seat being given free to every baby delivered at SSMC, with the first use of the seat being for their safe journey home. "This willalsobe an opportunity for SSMC to give back to the community," he said during the pre-launching at the centre. |
